Soon the inevitable happened. We were almost out of cash and if things didn’t turn around soon, we would not be able to make rent in two months. We had to think of something fast.
You see, I was never really sold on the conventional wisdom that success = study hard and get a ‘good’ job. It just sounded (still does) so uninspiring to me and I wish parents would stop saying...
